One of my favorite coffee shops in all of Portland is the Fehrenbacher Hof. They play a wide assortment of different kinds of music, the people (both workers and patrons) are pleasant, fun and warm and they have amazing pastries, sandwiches and teas. Plus, you can hang out there for hours undisturbed. I'm there when my son is in school at MLC most every day.
